Lunch menu wheel
Put the candidates on the wheel and let one spin decide.
Items
Up to 200 items. Blank lines are skipped.
6 / 200
With this many items the names do not fit on the wheel; the list is in the box above.
This browser is not saving your list, so it will be lost when you close the page.
Spin history
No spins yet.
Once the group has narrowed lunch down to a few dishes or places, one spin can settle it. With the six sample dishes, for instance, each has a 1 in 6 chance, because every dish on the wheel is equally likely.
Choosing a meal
Write one dish or restaurant per line; the sample dishes show only while this page has no saved list of your own. A click or tap on the wheel starts it, and once it stops a result window shows the chosen dish. Turn on Sound for a short tick as the pointer passes from slice to slice, at most about 22 ticks a second, and a two-note chime when the wheel stops.
Give a favourite more room
Typing a dish twice gives it more room: each copy is a separate slice, so a dish on two lines has double the chance of one on a single line. For example, if Ramen fills two of six lines, its chance is 2 in 6, that is 1 in 3.
Cross off what nobody wants
Deleting a line from the box takes that dish off the wheel, and any edit to the list also clears the highlight on the picked slice and the previous result in the result window. If the group turns down a pick, press the button in the result window that names it, such as Remove “Sushi” and spin again, and the wheel drops that one line and spins straight away. When the list is your own rather than one opened from a share link, that removal is saved in this browser at once, so the dish will be missing from the list on the next visit until it is typed back in. When the list was opened from a share link instead, a removal is not saved, so the menu you saved stays as it was.
A menu that stays with this page
This page saves its own list in this browser, apart from the home page and the presentation order page, so the menu is still there when the page is opened again in the same browser. The English and Korean versions of this page use the same list. Changes are stored on their own as you edit.
Send the menu to colleagues
A link made with Copy share link carries the current menu, and colleagues who open it see the same dishes. Their own saved menu is left alone when they open the link, unless they edit the shared menu in the item box, which then takes its place. The saved menu it replaces is not deleted but kept as the previous list, so the colleague can bring it back with the Restore my previous list button. If a colleague presses Remove “Sushi” and spin again in the result window on the list from the link, that removal is not saved, so the colleague’s own saved menu stays as it was.
